Silver Crown Ring | Rough Diamond Earrings | Ice Necklace | Rose Gold Knot Ring | Rough Diamond Ring | Hydrangea Petal Ring
Earlier this month I was lucky enough to win a giveaway from June Designs on Facebook, and Joelle kindly let me pick an item from her shop within a price range. I chose her silver square links necklace, and last Friday I got my little surprise in the mail! The packaging was adorable, so I immediately took some pictures and decided this would be an excellent way to kick off my Brand and Product Showcase series.
I highly recommend this shop if you like simple jewelry designs — browsing its pages is a real treat for the eyes. And if you’re interested in the behind the scenes of it all, you can follow Joelle on Facebook or read her Quit Your Day Job interview from earlier this year, where she talks about her experiences as a jewelry designer and seller and her approach to pricing. You may be surprised to hear this (that was sarcasm), but I’m extremely curious about the financial aspect of handmade business and I love it when interviews touch on that subject.
Above, you can see a selection of my favorite designs from Joelle’s Etsy shop; below are a few photos of my brand new necklace.
I’d never received jewelry in a metal tin before, and I love the idea! It doesn’t take as much space as a gift box and in fact fits inside one, which will make storing this necklace and finding it later super easy.
Also, how cute is that tiny little clothespin? And how cute is the fox logo?
Isn’t it gorgeous? If you love it as much as I do, you can get your own here. I can’t wait to wear mine.
What’s your favorite piece from June Designs? I know that sounds like your usual blogger trick to get comments, which it very much is, and get people to visit the shop they’re promoting, which it isn’t because this is in no way a sponsored post, but it’s always interesting to me to see how my taste in things differs from other people’s. So I’d genuinely like to know!
