a photo walk around the london zoo
ft. giraffes, hunting dogs, lemurs, penguins, flowers, small rodents, my best friend, and a meerkat
warning: photo-heavy as fuck.
Bye, penguin!
And then the zoo manipulated us into buying a souvenir, and then we went home and ate Burger King. See more here.
Info! The ZSL London Zoo is located north of Regent’s Park and it’s kind of easy to find just by following the crowd after you get off the bus. Tickets are £19.80 online per adult or £20.70 at the gate. Note: it’s more expensive when it’s warm enough to enjoy it. When you go in, they’ll make you do weird poses and take pictures of you, and then they’ll sell you a book when you get out including four composites of you among animals, a magnet and a keyring thing for £20.
The lemurs are adorable. The bats are really hard to get pictures of. I dodged the insect exhibits because gross. Annemari saw a tiger but I barely did. I also missed the otters. They have otters. The meerkat photos are a miracle, honestly, because they vanished after I took them! Animals are assholes.
All animal and Annemari photos were taken by me with a Canon EOS 450D and a 50mm lens. Photos of me were taken by Annemari with her Olympus!
There. I said there’d be no words and I meant it! Hope you enjoyed this little look at the London zoo through my eyes.
